Welcome to Hilltown Riders Off Highway Vehicle Club!

We are thrilled that you are interested in becoming a member!

Before you proceed, there are a few things we want to be sure you know in advance. Please read this page carefully.


  • The membership dues cycle runs from 5/1 to 4/30 of the following year; applications for membership are accepted throughout the year. Annual membership dues are $200 per household which includes the primary member, their spouse/partner, and household members under age 25. All new members pay dues for the current cycle when they join and receive a prorated credit toward future dues based on join date.


  • Hilltown Riders has rules designed to keep members safe:
  • DOT approved helmets are required for all riders (or occupants) any time a machine is running.
  • The maximum number of riders shall be determined by manufacturer’s specifications; no passengers may ride on machines not originally designed for 2-up riding.


  • Hilltown Riders has a strict noise policy. While the Club understands that some riders like to customize their machines, noise is the leading cause of trail closures; Past problems have lead to this policy being implemented. Please read the Noise Policy and do not proceed if your off road machines do not meet the Club's requirements. Machines designed for closed course competition are strictly prohibited.


  • Off-road riding is inherently dangerous; All members are required to sign a liability waiver when they join. Insurance coverage is required for all machines operated on Hilltown Riders properties. You will be asked to upload proof of insurance during the application process.


  • Members are required to sign in electronically each time they visit Hilltown Riders properties. This is easily done via a short form on the website. Riding at the New Scotland property requires 24hr advance notice as per the Club's lease agremeent.

If you would like to become a member, please click the 'Join Now' button on the bottom of this page. You will need to submit an application with your contact information, tow vehicle/trailer license plate(s), proof of insurance, and must agree to abide by the Club rules and policies. The information you submit will be reviewed and, once approved, you will be notified and provided with instructions on how to submit payment via our website.


After payment is confirmed, you are required to complete your Member Profile in order to receive your plates and stickers that are needed to access the trails. Please note that until you have the plates and stickers you MAY NOT RIDE ON OUR PROPERTIES.
